مفردات اللغة الانجليزية ومعانيها
1) Hobby: هواية
An activity that you enjoy doing in your free time. For example: I like to paint as a hobby. 2) Novel:رواية A long printed story about imaginary characters and events. For example: historical/romantic 3) Sculptur: النحت The art of forming solid objects that represent a thing, person, idea, etc. Out of a material such as wood, clay, metal or stone. For example: Tom teaches sculpture at the local art school. 4 ) Design:تصميم The art or process of making a drawing of something to show how you will make it or what it will look. For example: The new plane is in its final design stage. 5) Jog:هرولة To run slowly and steadily, especially as a way of exercising. For example: I go jogging every morning. 6) Leisure time:وقت الفراغ Time when you are not working or studying and can relax and do things you enjoy. For example: Most people now enjoy shorter Working hours and more leisure time. 7 ) Crime:جريمة Illegal activities in general. For example: We moved here because there was very little crime. 8 ) Poetry:شعر Poems in general, or the art of writing them For example: He reads a lot of poetry. 9) Biography:سيرة A book that tells what has happened in someone's else. For example: He wrote a biography of Shakespeare. 10) Mystery:لغز،غموض An event, situation etc. that people do not understand or cannot explain. 11) Science fiction:الخيال العلمي Is a genre of fiction dealing with imaginative content space travel, 12) Novel:رواية a long written story in which the characteras and events are usually imaginary. 13) Knit:حاك ، نسج to make clothes, etc. by using two long needles to connect wool or another type of thread into joined rows. e.g. She's busy knitting baby clothes. 14) Sweater: سترة a piece of clothing made from wool which covers the upper part of the body and the arms, and which does not open at the front. e.g. a red woolly jumper 15) Sewيخيط to join two pieces of cloth together by putting thread through them with a needle. e.g. My grandmother taught me to sew. 16) Crochet:كروشية نسيج محبوك من الصوف to make clothes and other things using wool and a special needle with a hook (= curve) at one end. e.g. crocheted shawl. 17) Junk food:وجبات سريعة Food that is unhealthy but is quick And easy to eat 18) Hiking:المشي لمسافات طويلة The activity of going for long walks in the Countryside. 19) Weight:الوزن The amount that something or someone Weights. 20) Diet:ريجيم The kind of food that a person eats each day. 21) Snack:وجبة خفيفة A small amount of food that is eaten between meals, or a very small meal. 22) Karate:كاراتيه A Japanese fighting sport, in which you use your feet and hands to hit and kick. 23) Fever:حرارة A medical condition in which the body temperature is higher than usual and the heart beats very fast. 24) flu:أنفلونزا A common infectious illness that makes you feel very tired and week. And makes you cough and have to clear your nose a lot (influenza). 25) cough:كحة او سعال To force air out of your lungs through your through your throat with a short, loud sound. 26) Stomachache:الم بالمعدة A pain in the stomach. 27) Toothache:الم بالاسنان Pain caused by something being wrong with one of your teeth. 28) Headaches:الصداع A pain you feel inside your head. 29) A cold:برد وزكام A common illness that makes it difficult to breath through your nose and often makes your throat hurt. 30) Sick:مريض Physically or mentally ill; not well or healthy. 31) Allergies:الحساسية A condition that makes a person become sick or develop skin or develop skin or breathing problems because they have eaten certain foods or been near certain substances. 32) Graduation:التخرج The time when you complete a university degree course or your education at a high school. 33) Engagement:الخطوبة An agreement between two people to marry, or the period of time they are engaged. 34) Wedding:الزواج A marriage ceremony, especially one with a religious service. 35) Birth:الولادة The time when a baby comes out of its mother's body. 36) Retirement:التقاعد When you stop working, usually because of your age. 37) Public holiday:اليوم الوطني او اجازة عامه A special day when people do not go to work or school. 38) Decorate:تزيين to add something to an object or place, especially in order To make it more attractive. 39) Degree: درجة a course of study at a college or university, or the qualification given to a student who has done this course. 40) Member: عضو a person, animal or thing which is part of a group. 41) Parade:موكب a large number of people walking or in vehicles, all going in The same direction, usually as part of a public celebration of something. 42) Reception: استقبال a formal party at which important people are welcomed. 43) Gown: ثوب او فستان woman's dress, especially a long one worn on formal occasions. 44) Exchange: تبديل او تغيير او صرف to give something to someone and receive something from Them 45) The poor:الفقير people who have little money and/or few possessions. Opposite of the rich. 46) Offer up: تقديم مايصل to give something for God. 47) Gifts: هدايا a present or something which is given. 48) Department store: متجر متعدد الاقسام a large shop divided into several different parts, each of which sells different things. 49) Avenue:طريق اوشارع حسن المظهر مشجر a wide road, with trees or tall buildings on both sides, or a wide countryside path or road with treed on both sides. 50) Directions:اتجاهات instructions that you give to someone about how to find a particular place. 51) Museum:متحف a building where objects of historical, scientific or artistic interest are kept. 52) straight:خط مستقيم continuing in one direction without bending or curving. 53) Block: مبنى ضخم a large, usually tall building divided into separate parts for use as offices or homes. 54) Ferry:عبارة بحرية a boat or ship for taking passengers and often vehicles across an area of water, especially as a regular service. 55) Terminal: محطة the area or building at a station, airport or port which is used by passengers leaving or arriving by train, aircraft or ship. 56) Aquarium:حوض السمك اكوارييم a glass container in which fish and other water animals can be kept. 57) Stadium: مدرج a large closed area of land withm, rows of seats around the sides and often with no roof which is used for sports events. 58) cushion:وسادة a bag made of cloth, plastic or leather which is used especially on chairs for sitting or leaning on. 59) an invitation: دعوة when someone is asked to go to an event. 60) an earring:قرط او حلق a piece of jewellery, usually one of a pair, worn in a hole in the ear or fixed to the ear by a clip. الكلمات اللي بين قوسين لها تعريف في جدول بالملزمة وانا داخل بالايباد ومحسوبكم دخت ولاعرفت انزلها عذرا وان شاء الله تكون هذي معظم الكلمات وتعاريفها جدول ص 93 (Pack:توضيب وترتيب) ( suitcase:حقيبة سفر) (cap:تاكسي) (cheap:رخيص) (flight:رحلة بالطائرة) (bargain:صفقة) (Relative:قريب او نسيب) (snorkeling:الغطس) (schedule:جدول) جدول ص 127 (Weather:الطقس) (Exhibit:معرض) (crowded:مزدحم) (fan:معجب) (improve:تحسن)(skill:مهارة)(meet:اجتماع) (Event:حدث) جدول ص128 (Encourage:شجع من التشجيع) (guess:تخمين) (allergic:لديه حساسيه) (afford: تحمل اوقدرة على شراء شىء) (Broke:مفلس) |
