شروط للتسجيل في الفصل الصيفي المبكر

“Course Offering Criteria for Summer Session”

I. Course Offering for Specialization Students:
Category “A”:
v Course Offering:
The offered courses shall be restricted to the following only:
1. GES 113 - Calculus I2. GES 132 – Fundamentals of Physics
3. GES 151 – General Chemistry
4. ELC 103 – English III
v Criteria:
1. Only repeaters are allowed to register the above listed courses of “Category A”.
2. The enrollment is to be a minimum of 20 students.
Category “B”:
v Course Offering:
The offered courses, of this category, are to be confined to the following only:
1. MIT 170 – Computer Applications
2. MIT 203 – Organizational Behavior & Ethics
3. ELC 205 – Technical Writing
v Criteria:
1. The priority shall be given to the graduating students.
2. The enrollment is to be a minimum of 10 graduating students.

Category “C”:
v Course Offering:
The offered courses, of this category, are to be confined to the following only:

1. MME 221 – Pumping Machinery

2. MME 235 – Industrial Compressors

3. MME 112 – Strength of Materials

4. MME 121 – Plant Maintenance

5. CHM 231 – Petroleum Refining Technology

6. CHM 213 – Bio Chemistry

7. CHM 236 – Water & Waste Water Treatment

8. MIT 215 – Management Information System

9. MIT 153 – Introduction to Finance

v Criteria
1. To be basically offered for the following graduating students:
1st priority: Graduating students, who shall clear all requirements, by the completion of Summer session, and retain only the Co-op program for the following regular semester.
2nd priority: Students who retain only one course, by the completion of Summer session, to be registered along with the Co-op program in the following regular semester.
2. In addition to the above,any other interested students are also allowed to register such courses, based on the GPA (i.e. students shall be ranked in descending order starting from the highest GPA).
3. The enrollment must be a minimum of 10 students of the above graduating students (1st and 2ndpriorities); the same section can be complemented by the said interested students.

II. Prep. Year Students:
v Course Offering:
1. ELC 012 – English II
2. GES 011 – College Algebra & Trigonometry
3. GES 012 – Math for Business
v Criteria
1. Only repeaters can register such courses, WE and those who get (DN) in week (14) onwards.
2. The enrollment is to be a minimum of 20 students.
