أنواع السوناتة

1- السوناته الايطالية ( Petrachan )
* سميت بالشاعر الايطالي ,,Francesco Petrach
* قدمت للشعر الانجليزي في اوائل القرن 16 من قبل الميلاد من قبل Sir Thomas (1542 – 1503 )
* تتألف السوناتة الايطالية من مقطعين
المقطع الاول –Octave أو Octet ( افتتاحي ) و يتكون من 8 أسطر
وقد تتعدد القوافي فيه فإما ان تكون
1- abba-abba دائما 2- abba-cddc احيانا 3- Abababab نادرا
المقطع الثاني –Sestet ( ختامي ) ويتكون من 6 أسطر
.. وقد تتعدد القوافي فيه فاما انت تكون
1- xyzxyz 2- xyxyxy

,,, والمجموع 14 سطرا

· النموذج الايطالي حسب المواضيع
في المقطع الأول ,,, يعرض المواضيع عادة ويطورها
في المقطع الثاني ,,, يطببق العودة التي في البداية ليسمح لنفسه بطريقه ما أن يفكك التوتر المتراكم
2- السوناته الانجليزية ( الشكسبيريه )
* تطورت بواسطة Henry Howard
* تتألف من :
ثلاث رباعيات ( three quatrains ) و سطرين أخيرة تسمى ختامية ( Couplet )
... تكون القوافي مرتبة بهذا الشكل abab-cdcd-efef-gg
· السوناته الانجليزيه = الشكسبيريه حسب المواضيع
الاول ... يعرض موضوع يثير قضية أو شك The Theme
الثاني ... يجيب على السؤال أو حل المشكلة Answer the question
*****ويسمى هذا التغير في القصيدة The Turn
