I want inf about 4th year English
:d3: every body:119: I want to thank every body for their efforts I like this forum so much and know more information I am going to go to 4th year , and unfortunatelly :s11: I did not find any thing about 4th year , so I beg the permission of those who graduate from the English Department to benefit us by some information about the subjects of 4th year Please sisters,:praying: I want to know about the new subjects that we will study like: The History of the Language and The civilization I want to know: what we will study in them? what is your opinion about them? Are they difficult or not? If there are some sites that benefit us ? hello my dear i think it's too late to answer now :$ any way history of english language is kidna amazing sub may b cuz i studied it with ms.tasneem last year! u gonna study the history of english words as well as letters and sounds bt generally, believe me u gonna enjoy it the difficulty may be only with some symbols and latin letters u hv to know or actually memorize i hv the whole course of the last semester as powerpoint presentations and i think written versions as well on the other hand civilization is also a great sub it deals with the civilization of england from i think 5th till 20th century i like it cuz ms.tasneem makes it so btw, it's much easier than history of language generally, both of those subjects need memorization In prose, u gonna take The Portrait of a Lady by Henry James and Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf "u can watch their movies after read them" while in drama u gonna take The Master Builder by Ibsen and Pygmalion by Shaw if prof.wafiya is the one who teach u this semester dont worry at all even if u dont like drama, u'll love it with her :)well, that's it wish u the best of luck hun |

i have just graduated if you want any question about any thing, send me a private message Most of the teachers have not changed except for mrs.Tasneem and i am sure that you are gonna enjoy civilization with D.Lamya cuz she is a great tutor.Try to benefit from her as much as you can as for history of English language, for me the course was kind of easy and mrs.Batool is also as good as mrs.Tasneem good luck to you all |
