Hey Friends :biggrin: ! Are you addicted to something? Let's examine our lives and see if we are addicted to something. We know that some people are addicted to Heroine and cocaine but this is not what i mean. First , let's define what the word addiction means. According to Merriam Webster Dictionary , addiction is persistent compulsive use of a substance known by the user to be harmful. So , it is a compulsive behavior . You just can't help it. Addiction is taking different forms now. You may be addicted to checking your emails ( maybe three times a day or more ) . You may be addicted to MSN, spending 2 hours or more on it everyday. You may be addicted to checking forums posts. I heard about this kind of addiction. Someone just could not stop posting and checking other people posts . ! ) Also, you may be addicted to our English Forum Refreshing the page to see new posts.:biggrin: Speaking of myself, I usually become addicted to something for a period of time, especially on vacations and holidays .These days, i am addicted to watch a lot of movies and staying up all night.! :biggrin: Let me see if any of you is addicted to something and what is it? Do you have any ideas how to stop this addiction? Is it harmful to you? Is there any bad consequences for this bad habit? let see what you have :biggrin: |

nice topic a very organizing way of writing...i realy liked wt i read above i have always believed that addiction is a different way to express a psychological needs we have addicted to our forum...no question about that ^_^ as for me i used to be addicted to MSN chatting but my freinds became boring so i stopped and i don't think shopping is an addiction for a girl ^_^ anyway i don't know if there is sthng im addicted to coz recently i realized that theres nothing i can't live without if u consider reading is an addiction ..coz if it's not one book it wold be three or even articles on internet is it harmful.. i don't think so ...the glasses would help alot accept my passing by keep active the way U R ^_^ |

nice theme to talk about I liked it a lot
let's see addiction , If I talked and talked I'll never stop I always be addicted in something for while and than start to be addicted in a new thing but if I said the most thing that I have been addicted about and still have this addiction in it Is COFFEE :wink: and WATCH KOREAN series and movies and shows every thing and I had moments where I be listening all day in French songs and also read books but not now I stopped reading and I really don't like that I wish I can go back and read more but U can say that I compensated for it by writing more and it better for me , because it Makes me comfortable and have peace of mind I guess ok that's all what I can say it alright take care my lovely and amazing friend someone keep going in bringing us new thing like these :biggrin: |

lol yeah I can see all are seeing korean things
well for me because it something Different than the American movies and also That I really got bored from American movies that's why I decided to watch other things and they are so cute also it great thing if I learned How speak like them so having fun and learn their language also in the same time XD and Ur welcome bro :biggrin: |

oooh i used to be addicted to lots of things
not long time before i was addicted to Harry potter movies :biggrin: then to all movies after that i switched my addiction to harry potter books i have like red for hundred times each book eventually i got bored of it not truly though lol so i turned my head to other books for gr8 writers like charles dicknes and so on i think my addiction above isn't really harmfull though my sisters might disagree lol they used to call my name for 10 times before i turn my head from :biggrin: the book/movie & realize thay'r calling me :love080: now i got all things sort out evenly |
