و من أهم مظاهر هذه العلاقة التً نحتاج أن نسلط الضوء علٌها هً :
1. Rome’s ambivalent relationship to Greece )
2. The West’s ambivalent relationship to classical antiquity )
. -التناقض ما بٌن الحضارتٌن الرومانٌة و الٌونانٌة 1
. - التناقض ما بٌن الغرب و الحضارات القدٌمة 2
