I am sorry to make
we will talk later on>>>

I do not know it does not sound right to me! :(107): no need to use on ! only later

actually later on is correct. But I don't know what is the difference between later and later on
some say: there is no difference and on here is just an intensifier
and some say that later on suggests that something will happen in the not too distant future, but with later there is no time limit.

Now the fist story

first:(204):

(1)

اقتباس:

Ail ,who was working a long way from home ,wanted to send a letter to his wife
,but he could neither read nor write .

better to say un educated;un lettered;illiterate

I think it will become difficult in the context and:(107): pronunciation!!

اقتباس:

>>>>
and he had to work all day , so he could only look for somebody to write his letter. late at night ,at last he found the house of a letter-writer whose name was Nasreddin .

no need to use and here just start a new sentence

!! :106:Still in the context of the sentence

اقتباس:

better to say[COLOR="rgb(65, 105, 225)"] the letter--writer's house . he owns the house not the house owns the writer

I did not find this sentence>

اقتباس:

.Nasreddin was already in bed .It was late , he said what do you want?

when you narrate in English they usually , they usually Quote the speech of the character then they refer to the him or her like following:

what do you want '', he said ''

I want you to write a letter to my wife ,said Ail .Nasreddin was not pleased.

He thought for a few seconds and then said, has the letter got to go far ?

seconds are plural we can not use the singular A here

its Come with( a few
Not related to the singular or plural

also do not forget the

I do not Know about the rule GRAMMATICALLY

BUT

When I watch a movie or anything in ENGLISH DIALOGUE

I hear them saying

LATER ON

if they are telling the others a Sequence of events

like: He went to the company early morning etc....later on he had dinner with the family. It comes between the events.

but for telling the others that I will meet them later they usually say: see you later or catch you later

I depended on what I hear mostly

Second story

(2)
An old man died and lift his son a lot of money . but the son was foolish young man , and he quickly spent all the money ,so that soon he had nothing left. Of course ,when that happened ,all his friends left him . when he was quite poor and alone ,he went to see nasreddin , who was a kind , clever old man and often helped people when the had troubles .
My money has finished and my friends have gone , said the young man . what will happen to me now?
Don’t worry , young man Answered nasreddin . every thing will soon be all right again .whit , and you will soon feel much happier.

The young man was very glad .am I going to get rich again than ? he asked nasreddin.
No , I didn’t mean that , said the old man . I meant that you would soon get used to being poor and to having no friend .

How did the young man get his money ?
What did he ask nasreddin?
What kind of man was he?

So, your opinion is that later on = after that

yes, it's one of its usages
and there are more

I took this example form the dictionary:
I can't eat all of this - I'll finish it later on

the best answer I've found for this, is that later can always replace later on, and the safest way is to use later instead of later on

you can say: see you later on
and you can say: see you later - more common

I think it's like will and going to. will can always replace going to, and using will is safer
