ممكن احتمال سؤال يجي compare between neader's tragic-comedy and lisideius's tragic- comedy

ايش حله :bawling::bawling:

, Lisideius attacks the idea of tragic comedy and says that it is absurd; no one in the world has something as absurd as the tragic comedy. He says how can we bring fools and kings together because in the end it won’t be a tragedy or a comedy. Everything he says will be counter replied or defended by Neander; Neander will say that the tragic comedy is an honor to the English.

neadersay'sthat the French have imitated by combining the serious with the comical: tragicomedy. He says you have attacked us for using tragicomedy and you said that it is absurd, but the French writers have begun to imitate the English writers. He gives us the name of prominent writers such as Moliere to show us that French writers have begun to imitate the genre of tragicomedy, therefore it is not absurd. He is going to give us more points showing thus why a tragicomedy should be used in drama.

then, He is going to justify the use of tragicomedy. 1- He says that when we put opposites they show each other clear. In other words, when we put two opposites together they show the qualities or the characteristics of the thing they’re being put next to. This applies to drama because if I want to show something that is very serious I bring with it comedy. The comedy will bring out the tragic elements, and the tragic elements will bring out the comical effect. He uses the word contraries. 2- When we are in a tragedy the audience needs to be relieved a little bit. One way of doing that is by adding music, another way is by adding comical scenes; it relieves the audience from being two tense while watching the play. What Neander says here is that we need the comical element in order to provide relief. 3- He does not believe that compassion, sympathy and mirth (laughter) destroy each other:

The honor is that they have invented the genre of tragicomedy. Neander shows not just that it is not absurd and there is logic behind it, he gives the honor to the English for having contributed with the genre of tragicomedy.

Plato's Theory of Inspiration
اهم الاشياء فـ رأيي :biggrin:

Ion

The text is written in the form of an argumentative dialogue between Socrates and Ion. As a teacher, Plato used different methods of explaining and teaching in this text to make his idea reach the readers and students. He chooses the
argumentative method where he makes use of questions and answers

.
What is poetry?

poetry is the outcome of a divine inspiration not following any rules of art.

Theory of Inspiration
:
The god of poetry sent his divine inspiration to the poet through muse. [They have nine muses at that time which are the muses of arts]. Then inspiration goes to the poet through the muse. [God – Muse – Poet]. In order to receive inspiration, the poet has to go to the fountain of honey and become unconscious. So, at that time, when the poets receive inspiration, they are out of their minds and in such a state, they are like mad people. While they receive inspiration, they became unconscious and mad but after that they return to be ordinary people again. So, they are not mad all the time or totally mad but they are half-mad.
When the inspiration reached the poets from god, they come to know the poem that they are suppose to recite. This poem is ready made and considered the words of god. So, the poet is like a prophet and the messenger of god who carries god’s words. Only when he recites his poetry, he becomes a prophet and then he returned to be an ordinary man again. So, the poet is half-prophet.
According to Plato, the poet is half-mad and half-prophet.

After receiving the inspiration and get the words of poetry, the poet started to recite the poem. Then, he has some people who affected by his poetry and become his followers and those people are called the Rhapsodes.

Chain of Inspiration: or power of magnetic طبعا هذا جانا بالشهري وجا للبنات من ضمن اسئلة العام

- God is like a magnetic stone that attract iron objects and magnetize them and then they attracted to each other. So, the magnet property partly transferred to the iron objects and let these objects attract other things.
- The same chain applied in poetry as;

God ــــ> Muse ـــــ>poetـــــــ> Rhapsode ـــــــ>Audiences
وفوق كل سهم نكتب inspire << ماعرف اسويها :cool:

So, God, muse, poet, rhapsode and the audience are all connected to each other by inspiration.

ولو في شيء ناقص او خطأ خبروني :love080:
