Research has shown that while dolphins can move away if they do not want to interact with human swimmers, they do not like it at all if the swimmers slip into the water directly on top of them or if humans are in their path of travel. Two friends were travelling through a forest on foot when a bear ran after them. One of them was afraid. He rushed to the nearest tree and climbed it as fast as he could. He thought only of himself and forgot his friend. His friend threw himself to the ground and pretended to be dead. He lay very still when the bear came close to him and didn't move when the bear's nose touched his ear. Then the bear went away. He waited for a little time. Then he called his friend who was still in the tree. "It's all right now. The bear has gone. You can come down". His friend came down slowly because he was very afraid. "The bear put his mouth near your ear, he said". What did it say?. His friend laughed a lot and said, "It told me to look for another friend because a friend who runs away when there is danger isn't a real friend".
